Jat Airways will provide free health insurance for passengers traveling to European Union Countries, valid during the flight as well as during their stay at desired location. DDOR Novi Sad won at public tender for this service, so this insurance company will cover insurance for those passengers of Serbian flag carrier who have purchased return trip ticket.
"Free health insurance shows that our care for passengers is not only limited to the time they spend onboard Jat Airways planes. Our wish is to regain trust of our passengers, so they would return to us and fly with Serbian flag carrier over and over again" said Srdjan Radovanović, Jat Airways Director General, adding that "between numerous air carriers trying to win attention of every passenger, in this time of global crisis in air traffic, the companies that succeed will be those able to adjust new terms, respond adequately to the needs of passengers and meet their expectations."
Citizens of Serbia, whose health insurance cards are not valid in the European Union Countries, are obliged to have health insurance during their stay abroad. Their insurance will be covered simply by buying Jat Airways return trip ticket and in case of emergency, help will be provided for them. The insurance cover of up to 5 thousand euros comprises the cost of passenger's medical treatment resulting from unforeseen disease or as consequence of accident that occurred during stay abroad. The insurance will comprise passenger's costs of necessary hospital or clinical treatment, medicines, medical supplies, transport to the nearest hospital, urgent surgeries due to acute disease, dental treatments due to acute problem, transport to the country of residence and other types of help. |
